Explorer Children’s School provides a progressive early childhood education that combines art, STEM, literacy, and play to foster curiosity, creativity and optimal learning.
Unlike traditional settings, ECS engages kids actively through a hands-on, play-based approach in dynamic indoor and outdoor spaces. Teachers deepen learning opportunities through careful observations, instruction, and documentation.
This method promotes imagination, social/emotional development, and essential cognitive skills, celebrating each child's uniqueness while encouraging collaboration and critical thinking.

With a degree in biology/chemistry, master’s in education, and child development program director, ECS founder Sandra Turretta brings her 12+ years of experience as an educator to the direction of ECS. Her expertise and enthusiasm drive every aspect of the school, including exploring and planning the school’s art and STEM curriculum with teaching staff.
Explorer Children’s School recruits only the best, most committed, experienced and engaged teachers. As “brain surgeons” they literally help build brain structure in young children and are held in the highest regard.
Parents are an integral part of the ECS experience and the school is committed to building a robust school-family-community link. That link will both inform and reflect how ECS shapes curriculum, how it supports community needs and prepares kids to embrace their role as future citizens.
