I'm impressed with the curriculum and how Sandra engages him in activities which don't really hold his interest yet, like drawing and writing. Activities are approached it in a way that makes them interesting and fun, and Sandra clues in on topics he enjoys and incorporates it to the lesson, making hard-to-reach concepts such as gravity or the scientific method more exciting and familiar to an almost-four year old.
Community
I really appreciate Sandra's transparent communication. She's very good at keeping the families apprised of the doings of the school. Every day, she sends out a report about the work of the day, including pictures, for the parents to review. My daughter really enjoys reading it with me and pointing out in the various pictures what was going on. It's a lovely way to feel connected to my daughter's day.

We met Sandra when she was a co-director of our daughter's co-op preschool. We were so excited that our daughter was old enough to attend this year. She had never been to a "full day" camp before, so I was worried. As one of the youngest kids at camp, she still enjoys an afternoon nap, so I wasn't sure how she would do. But every single day we picked her up with a HUGE smile on her face. She was covered in dirt or markers, which showed just how much fun she had throughout the day.
Every evening she would recite little sayings she learned from camp, funny stories from the day, and she was genuinely excited to go back every day. The adults made sure kids drank plenty of water, used the bathroom and reapplied sunscreen regularly.
At the end of the week the kids all came home with journals they had worked on throughout the week, full of science experiments, artwork, and printed photographs from the week.
We highly recommend you look into this camp for your elementary aged kiddo!

Sandra and her team were amazing. The camp was well planned, she was so nice and organized from the start. Our son 5.5 at the time of camp, loved it and wants to go back. He made friends with 2 counselors which we love as parents. Awesome job! See you next summer!!!

We love Sandra's camp! My oldest went every year until she aged out and now my youngest gets to share the experience. It has been a wonderful way to continue my kids interest in STEM and also enjoy being outside.

We love Sandra and her STEM science focused camps! Two years in a row we've gone and my daughter has had the best time!!
